About
Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a graduate student in Costume Design with a love for storytelling, visual detail, and hands-on craftsmanship. Before entering theatre, I spent 15 years working as a user experience designer, where I developed a strong foundation in visual communication and thoughtful design. During that time, I was always creating art on the side, and eventually I decided to shift my career toward a more tactile and expressive creative path.
Now I focus on costume design, bringing characters and worlds to life through fabric, texture, and silhouette. My creative influences range from the mysterious and spooky to the glamorous and heartfelt. I was born in Salem, Massachusetts under a full moon, so it’s probably no surprise that I’m drawn to witchy aesthetics, tarot, celestial imagery, folklore, and all things a little magical. I’m equally inspired by the wonder of space, the sparkle of Dolly Parton, and anything that celebrates individuality, imagination, and flair.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dog and cat, skiing, experimenting with makeup artistry, and thrifting for vintage clothing and furniture. I’m drawn to objects with history, character, and a story to tell, and I bring that same spirit into my work as a designer.
