About

Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a graduate student in Costume Design with a love for storytelling, visual detail and hands-on craftsmanship. Before entering theatre, I spent 15 years working as a user experience designer where I developed a strong foundation in visual communication and thoughtful design. During that time I was always creating art on the side, and eventually I decided to shift my career toward a more tactile and expressive creative path.

Now I focus on costume design where I bring characters and worlds to life through fabric, texture and silhouette. My creative influences range from the mysterious and spooky to the glamorous and heartfelt, shaped by my love of space, Dolly Parton and anything that celebrates individuality and flair.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with dogs, skiing, experimenting with makeup artistry and thrifting for vintage clothing and furniture. I’m drawn to objects with history and personality and I bring that same spirit into my work.
